There is something very special that comes with doing that which you never thought you would or could do. It could be signing up to take singing lessons, asking someone out on a date or attempting to run a half marathon. Stepping out of your comfort zone and allowing yourself to be vulnerable, opens new doors that will benefit you in ways you cannot foresee. I’m not saying that running will solve the resentment and anger you have against your dad, but it could be that avenue which allows you to open yourself up to a whole new way of being, and as a result it alters your mindset and idea around resentment.
Big things happen when you step outside your norm. You begin to see yourself in a new light and as a result, your view around what you can and can’t do changes.
This week, I invite you to accept my vlog challenge! Although I cater my request specifically to running/ walking, I ask that you take on an area of your life that you’ve been wanting to change. Commit to one thing for one week and see what comes up! Remember, a kilometer is still a kilometer no matter how fast or slow you run it. And a commitment is still a commitment no matter how big or small.
Let me know what you do!
