Burpee Update



To date, I have done 158 burpees. I admit that over the weekend I seemed to find several other things I do instead of burpees and sure enough, I paid the price last night. The senior coach was shocked with the teams pitiful numbers and as punishment, she made us do burpess using Tabata training. Tabata is a form of training where you train hard for 20 seconds, then you take a 10 second rest and repeat. We did this for 4 minutes (20 seconds on, 10 seconds off) and it was painful, but at the end of the 4 minutes I managed to add 40 burpees to my tally. Here is an after shot of myself and the other volunteer coaches committed to the fitness challenge. I realize that even if I don’t make 1000, the point is that I did more burpees than I would have done otherwise, but I’m still going to push for the goal.

    So, what is your burpee count so far? You’re making me want to burpee! LOL
